This research include extraction of nickel metal from residual of fired heavy oilin electric power station, the residual were pretreatment by grinding and sieving,the nickel concentrated by particle size.Magnetic separation was also performed in order to get rid of iron that was inheavy oil residual in the form of magnetite, and the results show the ability ofseparating 86% of iron.Vanadium was recovered from the residual by alkaline leaching method usingsodium hydroxide solution and this step r…
