الملخص
This research discusses the term (Khana) which mentions in Mary's texts and the tribes that comes under this term. It studies the tribes settlement and their political role to draw the political map of the upper Euphrates and North of Syria. It also reveals the King's policy to control the tribes by granting them gifts or to provide them food and water for their cattle. The aim of this policy is to dominate over this area to show economic and humanitarian possibilities
